The internet is gaining more and more attention and importance throughout everyday life. In the automotive industry the internet is not only changing the business-to-business relations but also the ones of business-to-consumer. According to a study from Capgemini 60% of the consumers with purchase intension to buy a car inform themselves first via the internet. So a good web presence increases the chance of selling more units. The lecture “Visual Requirements Engineering” at the University of Konstanz took up the cause and made the main task to specify the requirements for the website itself but for a subpart – a car configurator. The whole development process should be supported by the tool iRise from the iRise Company.
